for ship operators containing best-practice that requires tanker owners
and operators to self evaluate their approach to the ISM Code and to demonstrate
a strong commitment to safety and environmental excellence.
The self-assessment (Gap Analysis) covers the following

03) – Recruitment and management of ships personnel
04) – Reliability and maintenance standards
05) – Navigational safety
06) – Cargo & ballast and mooring operation
07) – Management of change
08) – Accident investigation and analysis

10) – Environmental Management
11) – Emergency procedures and contingency planning
12) – Measurement analysis and improvement
STET Maritime Bureau has experience of implementing
management systems for large and small shipping companies and recognises
that many of the smaller ship operators will require assistance in progressing
the TMSA.

in the assessment process as well as to develop phased improvement plans
