AIM
The aim of the SSO Course is to equip participants with the
knowledge and requirements of the ISPS Code and various
relevant legislation.
OBJECTIVE OF COURSE
At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

Assume the responsibilities and perform the duties of
the SSO.

Implement and ensure the maintenance of the Ship’s
Security Plan.

Conduct security inspections of the ship to ensure
adequate security measures.

Understand the conduct of security assessment and
audits.

Conduct training, drills and exercises in accordance
with the ISPS requirements as a competent trainer.

Enhance security awareness and vigilance.

participants who meet the course requirements.
