The Services & Consultancy business unit of STET Maritime provides classification survey, flag state statutory survey and audit, independent third party marine survey, loss adjustment, supply chain security and consultancy services to the maritime and shipping industry including consultancy service for port development.

 

We are an authorized Recognised Security Organisation (RSO) by the Panama Maritime Authority (AMP) and provide the review and approval of Ship Security Plans including verification audit for the endorsement and issuance of the International Ship Security Certificate (ISSC). To date we have approved more than 4,000 ship security plan on behalf of the Panama Maritime Authority.

 

STET Maritime inspectors and surveyors consist of Master Mariners, Marine Superintendents, Marine Engineers and Naval Architects with profound knowledge and experience in maritime operations. Our inspectors and surveyors are also member of the “International Institute of Marine Surveying” and “International Register of Certificated Auditors”.

 

All our surveyors have knowledge of the IMO/ILO Conventions with at least two years experience in ship survey and more than 5 years sea experience. We have tied up with various Classifications Societies and Recognise Organisation on various consultancy projects including training of their maritime security auditors and have met their respective requirements.

 

The company maintains a rigorous compliance program to ensure that all inspectors and surveyors act professionally and ethically and are constantly being trained, developed and updated in their fields of survey work in order to maintain a consistently high standard of quality work.
