AIM
The aim of the course is to:
-
Prepare and equip participants with the necessary
knowledge when performing navigation within Port Limit
and its approaches including the proper execution in
response to marine emergencies.

Assist candidates in preparing for the Port Limit Tanker
Master & Passenger Ferry Safety simulation exams.
OBJECTIVE OF COURSE
At the end of the course, participant would be able to:

Understand the basic principles governing safe
navigation within the port.

Perform voyage planning, making use of various aids to
navigation, conform to proper reporting procedures and
have a better understanding of the relevant Port
Regulations when operating within the port and its
approaches.
Better acquaint the participants with the
Full Mission Shiphandling Simulator.
Take control and execute proper response to marine
emergencies
