AIM
The aim of this course is to prepare candidates appearing
for the Port Limit Steersman Manning Licence Examination.

Tidal Information in Port Limits
PRE-REQUISITES REQUIREMENTS
a) Citizens or permanent residents of at least 18 years of
age
b) Have passed an approved eyesight test; and
c) Have, within the past five years, served a total of at
least six months in the capacity of a crew in one of the
following power-driven vessels:

Licensed harbour craft; or
-
Vessels belonging to the Government of Singapore or a
Statutory Board; or
-
Sea-going vessels engaged in trade, trawlers or deep-sea
fishing vessels.
