AIM

To enable shipmasters who have successfully completed the course to be granted pilotage exemption in the respective pilotage districts.

 

FOR WHOM

Shipmasters of vessels between 300 GT and 2000 GT navigating in the pilotage district Areas A and D, and between 300 GT and 5000 GT in pilotage district Area B.

 

COVERAGE OF COURSE

Participants will be assessed on their knowledge of:

  • Port Environment

  • Reporting procedures

  • COLREGS and Port regulations

  • New Developments in Port Waters

PRE-REQUISITE REQUIREMENTS

Master of vessels between 300 and 5,000 GT.

 

CERTIFICATION: Pilotage Exemption Certificate by MPA.

 

DURATION: 1 Day
