AIM
To train
participants to carry out bunker surveying to comply with the
requirements, procedures and documentation in accordance with
the Singapore Standard SS600:2008 — Code of Practice for Bunkering.

PRE-REQUISITE REQUIREMENTS
a) At least 21 years of age and medically fit;
b) Have a working knowledge of English;
c) Holder of Diploma in Nautical/Maritime
Transportation/Marine Engineering studies or equivalent and;
d) At least 6 months of relevant working experience or
attend at least 30 complete bunker surveys* as a trainee
surveyor.
*
A bunker survey performed by a licensed bunker surveyor for
an entire bunkering operation by the bunker tanker to the
receiving vessel. The trainee surveyor shall maintain
records of each survey attendance with the licensed bunker
surveyor. Each record shall include but not limited to, date
of survey, location of survey, name of receiving vessel,
name of bunker tanker, name and licence no. of bunker
surveyor and the master's/chief engineer's endorsement with
vessel's stamp.
CERTIFICATION:
A Certificate of Completion will be issued to
participants who have 100% attendance and pass the written
examination.
