The stages below outline the steps taken to carry out
effective Tender Documentation & Evaluation. Click on each
stage to find out more.
Our consultants will
incorporate the approved description, performance specifications, bill of
quantities, strategic positioning, cabling and cabling support systems of the
physical and electronic security systems and sub-systems prepared during the
Security Planning and Design stage into the client’s standard tender document
(if any) to invite contractors bids for the implementation of the proposed
security systems by way of an open tender of closed tender as directed by the
client.
During the tender
process, our consultants will attend to any queries by tenderers and issuing of
any corrigendum to the tenderers, if required. Queries by tenderers and the
Consultant’s replies to them, together with any corrigendum issued, will be
recorded and forwarded to the client for purpose of transparency.
Upon closure of the
tender exercise, our consultants will evaluate the tender submissions; compare
the offers received with the approved estimates and current prices in the
market, short-list and interview tenderers jointly with the client. Finally, a
tender report will be submitted to the client advising on the performance
specification compliance, capability and the price.
The client shall
decide on the award of the tender.
