STET DEFENCE was established to provide military education and training solutions to armed forces and paramilitary forces such as the Police and the Coast Guard. STET Defence also provides Operational, Management and Consulting expertise in areas such as Maritime Security, Maritime Domain Awareness, Search & Rescue Operations and Experimentation.

Since its inception in 2002, STET has been the strategic training partner of the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN). Since then, STET has grown and has also been appointed as the training partner of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) in 2005 and also the Singapore Police Coast Guard in 2007.
